In Spring and Summer we like to start off every day with a healthy, filling and delicious protein smoothie. Our fave right now is our Healthy Peanut Butter & Jelly Breakfast Smoothie.

INGREDIENTS
1 cup of Organic Frozen Strawberries or Raspberries
1 tablespoon of All-Natural Peanut Butter (we use About Life Peanut Butter)
2 heaped tablespoons of Health Lab Body Protein Powder
1 heaped teaspoon of Chia Seeds

METHOD
Chuck all the ingredients in a blender with a few ice cubes and cover with your choice of water/coconut water/milk/unsweetened almond milk. We just use water as the Protein Powder gives it a smooth, fluffy texture anyway.

Blitz in your blender for a minute or so and you're done!

Why berries? Berries are high in antioxidants, fibre and will give your smoothie that sweet, fruity taste without loads of sugars like bananas, passionfruit, apples or pineapples.

Why Peanut Butter? Peanut Butter is packed with nutritional benefits such as protein, healthy fats. A little bit goes a long way to keeping you full and satisfied. (plus it tastes amazing!)

Why HL Body Protein Powder? Our Body Protein Powder is formulated to boost your metabolism, keep you full and satisfied, fight off sugar cravings, improve sleep and maximise the benefits from your sweat session.

Why Chia Seeds? Don't be fooled by the size of these seeds, they are among the most nutritious foods on the planets and will keep you satisfied until lunch!

Of course if you don't have time for this in the mornings or when you're super busy in the afternoon and those cravings hit you hard, you can always try our ready to drink Protein Smoothies in Strawberry, Coffee and Choc. Find a stockist HERE.
