Sure, we love cooking home made fresh and healthy meals that make the house smell like Jamie Oliver's kitchen and create such oh-so Insta worthy photo ops... But only when we have all day to browse Pinterest for inspiration, raid the farmers market for top produce and read magazines while we wait for it to cook!

Unfortunately, most of us busy babes have shit to do, work to attend, kids to entertain and life to nail, so we need to speed up the process a bit.

Blitz it and go!

We all know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day so why is it the one that is most commonly skipped? Because, for god's sake who has time in the morning! This is NO-NO for a number of reasons; can't concentrate, over-snacking, poor nutrition in convenient on-the-run options, weight gain, the list goes on.

So how do we nourish our bodies and get out the door at the same time? A protein smoothie, full of nutrients that is also super filling that you can just zap in your blender and take with you. If you need a little mid morning push to tide you over until lunch time, our protein balls have you got you covered. Get your on-the-go breakfast for the weeks sorted with the click of a button NOW!

Meal prep without having to eat the same thing over and over!

Making a big batch of chicken and vegetable stir-fry is all well and good on Monday but when we're still eating it on Wednesday, life starts to look a little glum. We suggest meal prepping with something a little more versatile, say, a slow roasted pork shoulder? That way you can use the left over meat in salads, wraps or wherever your creative juices take you and you won't be sick of eating the same thing over and over.

Think about your pantry staples.

Booooorrriiing! Who spends time thinking about the staples when there is so much other pretty and delicious things floating around the market to pull our focus? But babe sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do and always keeping your pantry stocked with long lasting vegetables (e.g. sweet potatoes, carrots) healthy grains (quinoa, lentils, legumes, beans, brown rice), coconut oil and as many spices as possible is super worth it. Spices are the healthiest way to pack your meals with loads of flavour.

Use your freezer.

Your freezer is your friend! I know it may not seem like it when the temperatures are what they are right now, you might even say, "who needs a freezer when I live in Melbourne?" And whilst that is a fair question, time saving 101 is STOP going to the supermarket everyday! Plan ahead, do a big shop and organise yourself for the week.
