Monday Madness!

Posted by Jess Thomas on

Here’s how to make Monday’s your friend babes!

1. Morning glory: One of the biggest trends in successful people is their priority on their morning routines. You need to create a morning ritual that sets you up for success and one you stick to daily. This should include some meditation, exercise and breakfast to optimise your mood and productivity level. Basically, it helps you get more shit done! Many babes compromise their morning routine, especially on a Monday. This morning ritual should be non-negotiable as it helps you to feel good and set you up emotionally and physically for success that day.

2. Inner chaos creates outer chaos. You need to slow down and prioritise your workload for that day, before switching on your emails or having Monday meetings. Your ‘to-do’ list will always be there. So identify the 3 most important tasks to get completed that day (sorry Babes but it’s usually the ones you want to do least) and get them done first thing. Again, still no emails till after this is done. This will set you up for the entire week and eliminate those butterflies straight away. One trick is to schedule a ‘meeting’ in your own calendar to get your own stuff done!

3. Fridays! As much as every babe loves that Friday afternoon feeling, be sure to complete any unpleasant, stressful, anxiety inducing tasks by the end of the week. By taking care of the things you least want to handle at the end of one work week, you’re making the start of the next that much better.

4. Positivity. Sunday evenings write a list of 3 things you are looking forward to achieving that week. It will help you stay motivated and positive when those first few hours may be stressful.

Happy Monday!
